Citizens Helping in Police Services (Volunteers)
The program is designed as a partnership among law enforcement, property owners and managers, and residents to help keep drugs and other criminal activity out of residential rental property.
Crime Prevention is defined as the anticipation, recognition and appraisal of a crime risk and the taking of some affirmative action to remove or reduce that risk.
The Kennewick Police Department Records Unit processes all paperwork generated by the Patrol and Investigations Units, including reports, citations, arrest warrants and court orders.

The Youth Services Unit is comprised of four School Resource Officers (SRO's), a Drug Abuse Resistance Education Officer (DARE).
